share a smile
give a hug
imagine something neat
walk outside
kiss a tree
walk in your bare feet

in a world that wobbles
that seems filled with hard things
my wish for you on this day
is that your heart can sing

a little tune of wonder
a short song of delight
to be here is a miracle
trust that all will be all right

i know it isn’t easy
you might be afraid
here is what I’m hoping
that love and wonder, they can braid

i think if that can happen
if we all do tend our thread
a new world can be opened
a new thought it will spread

so let’s stand together
and all start weaving now
make a better world
i know we can
somehow
