This was a project I did basically during the pandemic. I started writing a poem a day. Once ‘real life’ started again it got harder to write everyday, which is interesting.
doubt creeps in
doubt creeps in
holds your hand
makes you question
what you’d planned
pulls you down
into the dark
dims your light
dampens your spark
ideas once
seemed to glow
now concern
is all you know
time to dig
inside so deep
turn from doubt
and courage keep
